The Club

This is a members' club of over 70 years standing.

The club owns its own premises. The annual subscription is £20, and £5 for Juniors (under 25). Table money for members is £2.50, and £4 on Dragon nights. Juniors pay half at all sessions.

Only duplicate bridge is played. The club holds qualifying heats of all WBU National and Western Area competitions. In addition, there is a full programme of Club Championships. WBU master points are awarded at all sessions. Current Membership is over 200

In principle, the club welcomes visitors to all duplicates.  Visitors are requested normally to ring the Secretary or the Club Steward in advance. It may be possible to find a partner for an individual visitor. Visitors are charged an extra 50p table money.

There is a bar and refreshments are available. There is no smoking throughout the club. Car parking on the road near the club is always possible.
